Senior Applied Scientist

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize foundational and applied research for state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities.
• Work with text, audio, and visual data to improve AI understanding of human interaction.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop reliable, efficient, and scalable AI implementations.
• Integrate algorithms and models into products and conduct client-focused proofs of concept.
• Identify AI use cases that can improve customer business efficiency.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to business development.

Required Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or an AI-related field.
• At least 8 years of experience developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI on Azure and Python-based prototyping and implementation.
• Knowledge of agentic AI designs and protocols, including MCP, A2A, and agentic orchestration.
• Expertise in advanced RAG architectures and information retrieval systems.
• Experience integrating agentic solutions with Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Understanding of current agentic AI and RAG research areas.
• Azure certifications such as AI-900, AI-102, DP-100, or AZ-305.

Preferred Qualifications

• High-level research experience, preferably evidenced by peer-reviewed publications or product-driven research and development.
• A highly curious and inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
• In-depth knowledge of recent developments in AI and machine learning.
