Senior Applied Scientist

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize foundational and applied research for state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models for computer vision, natural language processing, audio processing, and other AI applications.
• Create multimodal solutions integrating text, audio, and visual data.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to improve algorithm efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Integrate algorithms and models into product offerings and conduct proofs of concept for client needs.
• Identify opportunities for AI to improve customer business efficiency.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the business development team.

Required Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, or an AI-related field.
• At least eight years of experience developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• A track record of high-level research, preferably evidenced by peer-reviewed publications or product-driven research and development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization in computer vision, natural language processing, or speech and audio is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest developments in AI and machine learning is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills are desirable.
• A curious, inquisitive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to problem-solving is valued.
