Role Overview
This is a leadership role for an Application Transition Manager responsible for complex global IT service handovers, stabilization, and scaling.
The role combines delivery leadership, AI-powered modernization, enterprise program governance, pre-sales solutioning, and live transition execution.
Transition Solutioning
- Design and own transition solutions across multi-vendor, multi-geography, multi-stack, and multi-service environments.
- Define transition strategies, milestones, resource models, success KPIs, risk-adjusted plans, and business cases for RFP, RFI, SOW, and contract activities.
- Present proposed transition solutions and execution approaches to senior client stakeholders and C-suite audiences.
AI-Enabled Transition
- Use GenAI knowledge extraction, automated documentation, intelligent codebase discovery, AI estimating, and effort prediction to improve transition quality and speed.
- Deploy tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeScene, and SonarQube AI for code analysis, technical debt discovery, and documentation.
- Apply AI-powered dependency mapping, project analytics, NLP reporting, AIOps, and ML-based SLA prediction during transition and hypercare.
