Purpose

  • The Senior Analyst, Business Process is responsible for the end to end change management and sustainment of all vendor related changes for Retail Products Unsecured Lending.
  • Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Liaison with all internal stakeholders and vendors; ensure all applicable stakeholders are kept informed and aware of all updates and provide sign off for all vendor related activities.
  • Work with vendors to ensure all activities are completed accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for the change requests for all vendors who are affected by any change activities including projects where content changes need to be made (i.e. correspondence releases, welcome packages, and inserts/messaging).
  • Primary contact for Retail Products Unsecured Lending on all items related to change management activities with our vendors.
  • Track and provide the change management costs to the Vendor Manager to ensure we are on plan or are aware of any variances to the forecasts provided by the vendor.
  • The incumbent will ensure all procedures, playbooks and databases are kept current and accurate.
  • Provides support and execution of testing strategies along with governance of vendor, BNS IT and Product facilitation for end to end business acceptance testing for vendor related implementations.
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day to day activities and decisions.
  • Resolve vendor change related issues and manage issue management action plans.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day to day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk.

  • The ideal candidate has a combination of educational qualifications and experience.
  • An understanding of the products, services and value proposition he/she is responsible for supporting; Working knowledge of the Retail Products industry preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Must possess independent decision making and the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong time management skills required.
