  • The analyst will serve as the primary point of coordination between Imkan and its subsidiaries, ensuring timely visibility into financial performance and operational execution.
  • The analyst will support end to end evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities, from initial screening through to due diligence support and post deal integration planning.

Subsidiaries Portfolio Management

  • Own the monthly analysis of management accounts across all subsidiaries and flagging variances against budget.
  • Design and maintain a Group level dashboard tracking KPIs per subsidiary (revenue, gross margin, cash position, headcount, capex) updated on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor cash flow forecasts for each entity; escalate liquidity concerns with a recommended course of action.
  • Track and report on key operational milestones, to ensure execution against business plans.
  • Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and governance weaknesses; propose remediation plans.
  • Prepare concise monthly and quarterly subsidiary performance packs for executive review.

New Business Acquisitions & Joint Ventures

  • Build and maintain financial models (DCF, NAV, comparables, etc.) to assess deal economics, returns, and sensitivities.
  • Coordinate financial due diligence workstreams; review target financials, identify red flags, and summarise findings in structured diligence reports.
  • Prepare investment committee memos and presentation materials for senior decision makers.
  • Track and manage a pipeline of live and prospective opportunities in a structured deal tracker.
  • Post close: monitor integration KPIs and flag deviations from the acquisition business case.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A within a multi entity or group structure.
  • Demonstrable experience managing financial reporting across multiple business units or subsidiaries simultaneously.
  • Strong financial modelling skills; able to build 3 statement models from scratch.
  • Hands on experience with M&A or JV transactions — from screening through due diligence.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and manage competing priorities across a diversified portfolio.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (in English and preferably in Arabic); able to alter complex financial information for senior audience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional qualification: CA, CFA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to early stage or growth stage businesses, particularly subsidiaries in their first 1–3 years of operations.
  • Experience across mixed sector portfolios (exposure to at least two of: contracting, construction, property management, marine or industrial).
  • Familiarity with ERP or similar tools.
  • Prior experience in a family office, holding company, private equity, or investment company environment.

Reporting Structure & Governance

  • The Senior Analyst will report directly to the Portfolio Manager and maintain day to day working relationships with subsidiary finance leads, operations managers, and external advisors as required.
