Workplace
- The role uses a hybrid working policy, splitting work between Jacobs offices or projects and remote locations.
- The listed location is Bur Dubai and other regions of the United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead airfield engineering design and project delivery activities.
- Manage runway, taxiway, apron, and pavement rehabilitation projects.
- Review engineering designs, specifications, contractor submissions, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with airport operations, ATC, regulators, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with ICAO, FAA, GCAA-UAE, GACA-KSA, and airport standards.
- Support asset management, CAPEX planning, safety assessments, and Civil 3D, BIM, and GIS activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Airport, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- At least 12 years of engineering experience, including at least 7 years in airport projects.
- Strong knowledge of airfield pavements, ICAO Annex 14, FAA standards, and construction management.
- Experience delivering projects in operational airport environments.
Key Competencies
- Technical leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
- Problem solving, decision making, excellent communication, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of ACC/CDE platforms for model collaboration and federation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as PMP, PE, CEng, or equivalent is advantageous.
- Middle East project experience in airports is preferable.
