Role overview
Assent is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and operate enterprise-scale AI and machine learning systems.
The role combines systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, applied AI, and agent-based architectures.
The position focuses on reliable, secure, and high-performing AI platforms that deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize LLM, RAG, and agent-based AI solutions.
- Deploy, orchestrate, monitor, retrain, and roll back multi-agent systems.
- Implement guardrails, observability, governance, fairness, security, and compliance controls.
- Integrate agents with APIs, microservices, message-driven systems, and enterprise services.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and research teams on AI features.
- Evaluate emerging tools and frameworks and contribute to AI platform strategy.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years in AI/ML systems.
- Expert-level coding skills in Python, C#, and Angular/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks or standards such as MCP, A2A/ADK, LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
