Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and MIS reports
- Perform month end and year end book closure activities within stipulated timelines
- Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, and construction related financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and ledger accounts
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, and company financial policies
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management
- Review subcontractor payments, project expenditures, and cost allocations
- Support management in strategic financial planning and decision making
Requirements
- Semi Qualified CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with significant exposure to the construction industry
- Proven experience in month end and year end book closing
- Strong understanding of project accounting, job costing, and construction finance
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations
