About the Role
Turner & Townsend International Limited is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the Finance function and act as a Business Partner to the local leadership team in KSA.

Responsibilities
- Deliver clear & accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable
- Work closely with Commission Leads and Finance Leads to ensure accurate Management Accounts, Financial reports & Forecasts
- Business Partnering, Project profitability, Project Revenue Trackers, Project Accounting & WIP analysis
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained with reconciling variances articulated
- Support ad hoc month end reporting and annual statutory audit
- Support annual Budget submission
- Process General Ledger journal transactions
- Client invoicing and intercompany account reconciliations
- Support preparation of monthly payroll and respond to payroll queries
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience
- Experience in preparing Management Accounts, Forecasts, and Project Accounting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on own initiative
- KSA based with MNC consultancy/construction industry experience highly preferable
- Good knowledge of KSA VAT and Tax laws and practices is a significant advantage

Role Overview
- The Saudi business currently employs circa 475 staff across Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Natural resource sectors. The KSA business has a vacancy for a Senior accountant to help manage the Finance function and be a Business Partner to the local leadership team.
Key Selected Responsibilities
- Deliver clear & accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable.
- Working closely with Commission Leads and the Finance Leads to ensure Management Accounts, Financial reports & Forecasts are as accurate as possible.
- Business Partnering, Project profitability, Project Revenue Trackers, Project Accounting & WIP analysis are key reports to the business.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained with any reconciling variances articulated and managed in accordance with financial reporting standards.
- Supporting other ad hoc month end reporting in line with group timetable, including providing support on commentary for variance analysis.
- Revenue Trackers, Income Statement accurately recorded and maintained.
- Assisting with annual statutory audit.
- Support the annual Budget submission.
- Processing General Ledger journal transactions for both Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
- Client invoicing a critical requirement occurring at a critical time requiring the candidate to manage conflicting time and workload pressures.
- Intercompany account reconciliations with relevant action then being taken where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies both external reporting standards and internal policies.
Payroll
- Support preparation of monthly payroll.
- Generation of payroll journals and relevant payroll recons.
- Responding to payroll queries as and when required.
Tax
- Good knowledge of KSA VAT and Tax laws and practices will be a significant advantage.
