About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their KSA business, reporting to the Finance Director. The role involves preparing management accounts, forecasts, project accounting, and acting as a business partner to local leadership.

Responsibilities
- Deliver clear and accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable
- Business Partnering with Commission Leads and Finance Leads to ensure accurate Management Accounts, Financial reports, and Forecasts
- Maintain Project profitability, Project Revenue Trackers, Project Accounting, and WIP analysis
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained with reconciling variances articulated
- Support ad hoc month end reporting and provide commentary on variance analysis
- Assist with annual statutory audit
- Support annual Budget submission
- Process General Ledger journal transactions for Income Statement and Balance Sheet
- Handle Client invoicing, a critical requirement with conflicting time pressures
- Perform Intercompany account reconciliations and take necessary action
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal policies
- Support preparation of monthly payroll and generate payroll journals and reconciliations
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with post qualification experience
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- Experience in preparing Management Accounts, Forecasts, and Project Accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Good knowledge of KSA VAT and Tax laws and practices (significant advantage)
- KSA based with MNC consultancy/construction industry experience (highly preferable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic environment

- The KSA business has a vacancy for a Senior Accountant to help manage the Finance function and be a Business Partner to the local leadership team.
Job Purpose
- Senior Accountant reporting to the KSA Finance Director.
- Requires a qualified and technically strong accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- Must be a strong team player with experience in a high pressure environment.
- Frequent interaction with senior management requires strong communication skills.
Key Selected Responsibilities Accounting & Reporting
- Deliver clear and accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable.
- Business Partnering, Project profitability, Project Revenue Trackers, Project Accounting & WIP analysis.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained with reconciling variances articulated.
- Support ad hoc month end reporting and provide commentary on variance analysis.
- Revenue Trackers, Income Statement accurately recorded and maintained.
- Assist with annual statutory audit.
- Support annual Budget submission.
- Process General Ledger journal transactions.
- Client invoicing – critical requirement with conflicting time pressures.
- Intercompany account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Payroll
- Support preparation of monthly payroll.
- Generation of payroll journals and relevant payroll recons.
- Responding to payroll queries as required.
Tax
- Good knowledge of KSA VAT and Tax laws and practices will be a significant advantage.
Core Behavioural Skills
- A challenging mind set, analytical, methodical with ability to investigate and interrogate data (strong Excel skills).
- Confident accounting skills (qualified, CIMA, ACCA and equivalent, with post qualified experience).
- Good organisational skills, used to managing and prioritising workload.
- Must be comfortable with working in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Team development focus and a team player.
- Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills to manage business partnering relationships.
