Role Overview
Accountant role based in Dubai, UAE.
The role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting records and transactions.
- Process monthly payroll, salaries, deductions, and overtime calculations.
- Reconcile payroll with attendance, timesheets, and approved overtime.
- Manage petty cash, supplier payments, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Record and reconcile retail sales and cash collections.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Ensure UAE VAT compliance.
- Monitor expenses, cash flow, and financial controls.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, HR, and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of accounting experience.
- Family-owned business experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, overtime, accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, bank reconciliation, and VAT.
- Proficiency in accounting or ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, trading, FMCG, hospitality, or family-owned groups is preferred.
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
