Role Overview
The General Manager Engineer (PMO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role oversees the project management office and delivery of real estate development projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, and coordination across engineering, construction, and design teams.
- Monitor project progress against scope, budget, and timelines.
- Establish project governance frameworks, standardize processes, and implement project management and engineering best practices.
- Review technical documents and designs, manage risk assessments, and ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, prepare performance reports, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong PMO leadership experience in planning, scheduling, governance, and portfolio oversight.
- Solid construction or real estate development engineering background with technical design review capability.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, plus construction-related software experience.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, quality, safety, and risk.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Real estate development experience, preferably in Dubai or the GCC, and knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Dubai with strong communication, leadership, integrity, and stakeholder management skills.
