Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai.
The Accountant will manage daily financial operations and maintain accurate records for real estate projects.
The role supports financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and management decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and reconcile bank statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost tracking for projects.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Assist with audits and provide financial reports and analysis to management.
Qualifications
- Strong core accounting skills covering bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statements.
- Financial analysis and reporting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and project cost tracking.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, financial models, and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and UAE regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams, suppliers, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or property development finance is highly beneficial.
