Job Summary
MOBI KING PHONES FZCO is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in trading businesses, with the ability to manage full-cycle accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial decision-making with accuracy and insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversaw daily accounting operations, including sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory management
- Managed accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth cash flow and timely collections
- Conducted bank reconciliations and maintained accurate financial records
- Prepared and filed VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
- Handled Corporate Tax compliance, documentation, and filings
- Prepared financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for management review
- Supported internal and external audits with proper documentation and reconciliations
- Supervised accounting team and ensured accuracy, efficiency, and deadline compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven senior-level accounting experience in the UAE (trading industry preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and compliance
- Hands-on experience with Tally and other accounting/ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
