ASTI Academy is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai.
The role supports accurate financial reporting, sound accounting practices, and strategic financial decisions.
The position is located in Al Qusais, Dubai, within the education industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain general ledger records and review journal entries for policy compliance.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitor performance against forecasts, and analyze variances.
- Oversee tax preparation, filings, and compliance, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies and risk assessments to support business decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least six years of accounting experience.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Al Qusais, Dubai before starting work.
Compensation
- Full-time position paying AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Al Qusais, Dubai.
