Role Overview
The Senior Accountant role focuses on accounts receivable, collections, treasury reporting, reconciliations, and cash-flow forecasting.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipt allocation, customer reconciliations, and outstanding balances.
- Monitor collections and ageing, follow up on overdue customer payments, and report collection status and risks.
- Manage daily cash positions, bank balances, and liquidity while maintaining accurate treasury reporting.
- Prepare cash-flow and collection forecasts and compare expected receipts with actual collections.
- Perform bank and AR reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end closing and management reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally covering AR, collections, treasury, and cash management.
- Experience in real estate or property development and customer installment or payment plans is strongly preferred.
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
Compensation
- The package is up to AED 18,000; the compensation cadence is not specified.
