Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex single and consolidated corporate returns, including complex operating partnership returns.
• Review corporate and partnership book-to-tax reconciliations and federal and state tax returns.
• Identify tax-law adjustments and reflect them in workpapers and returns.
• Resolve tax issues with staff and complete returns within deadlines.
• Review international forms and apply international filing requirements.
• Train new joiners and provide timely feedback on reviewed projects.
• Manage U.S. counterpart meetings and track engagement budgets.
• Validate e-filed returns and coordinate support for complex diagnostics.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of post-qualification hands-on experience with a U.S. accounting firm.
• Experience and knowledge of the U.S. Tax Code is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal command of English.
• Strong entrepreneurial work ethic.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize information for appropriate recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and communicate with U.S. engagement teams.
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Inter qualification.
