Senior Accountant - 1040 - Tax - BLR

• A minimum of 3+ years of significant US tax experience in a public accounting firm or industry position with substantial exposure on taxation of U.S., Experience in Tax reporting and compliance requirements.

• Prepare & Review tax returns of Individual Tax Return Form 1040, Trust returns Form 1041, Multi-State Returns and international tax Reporting forms like, FINCEN FORM 114, Form 8938, 5471, 5472 etc.

• Prepare & Review tax returns of C Corporation Form 1120, Partnership returns Form 1065, Multi-State Returns and international tax Reporting forms like, 5471, 5472 etc. is added advantage.

• Perform first level review of tasks and processes of Tax return preparation and delivery.

• Strong focus on attention to detail and able to do multi-tasking to accomplish tasks effectively.

• Analyze complex data, make decision for final reconciliation and making necessary state adjustments.

• Conduct variance research & analysis, Optimization, reasonable checks and reconciliations for tax returns.

• Manage end-to-end tax compliance. Responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and within the defined processing time frame.

• Achieving target billing and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently within the budgeted time and cost.

• Actively lead projects through proper delegation and direction of work among other project team members.

• Guide the team in understanding various tax forms and also conduct training & brainstorming knowledge sessions.

• Guiding and developing Junior Staff members.

• Should be Leading and managing engagements independently

• Coaching/ developing junior members on the concepts of Individual/trust/990 tax compliance.

• Ability to review tax information and documentation to provide accurate information to Individual engagements.
