Job Description
- Ensure effective implementation of all operational security procedures within the hotel.
- Assist the Security Manager in management and security oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on property.
- Maintain a close dialogue and relationship with local security authorities.
- Ensure security officers provide courteous and professional service to all customers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor the car park system and ensure its smooth running and security.
- Vet daily functions and VIP arrival list and ensure security officers are deployed appropriately.
- Account for master keys of the property and their movements as well as key control in general.
- Keep hotel senior management informed on all matters relating to security aspects of the hotel on a daily basis.
- Review and suggest adjustment to process based on current/future environments.
Incident/Emergency Handling
- Professionally conduct full inquiries and follow up activities for all security related incidents.
- Carry out formal searches on employees, locker rooms and place of work as directed by hotel management.
- Organize the Security Fire Fighting Team in the event of an emergency.
Employee Management
- Guide, supervise and motivate the performance of all security personnel.
- Plan and carry out regular training for security personnel, involving other managers as required.
- Brief Security Officers daily on duties required of them and ensure they have necessary information and equipment.
