Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our finance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data by reviewing, verifying, and analyzing various income streams and fi

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and verify night audit functions, making necessary corrections or changes.
  • Upload and reconcile daily revenue from various departments (e.g., Rooms, F&B, SPA, Activities).
  • Analyze and verify all income streams, room status reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and maintain security deposit reports.
  • Conduct surprise cash counts and point of sale (POS) audits.
  • Support outlet and POS teams with financial related inquiries and issues.
  • Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Stay up to date with company policies, industry standards, and best practices in income auditing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 2 3 years of experience in a similar income auditing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheet applications, and property management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work with confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing and presenting financial reports.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.
