NTT DATA is seeking a Security Managed Services Engineer at L2 level for security infrastructure operations and managed services.
The role covers firewall, load balancer, IPS, WAF, VPN, malware response, backup, and disaster recovery support.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the security domain.
- Experience with firewalls and load balancers, including SLB or GSLB.
- Knowledge of malware, viruses, ransomware, host intrusion, common security issues, and network protocols.
- A graduate qualification is required.
- CCNP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification is required.
- DHCP and DNS installation, configuration, and administration are preferred.
Security operations responsibilities
- Troubleshoot virus incidents and outbreaks and notify location IT about new viruses and their impact.
- Troubleshoot firewall incidents, harden firewalls, and conduct quarterly rule-base reviews.
- Schedule and implement IPsec VPNs and administer IPS and management servers.
- Administer, manage capacity for, and upgrade the WAF platform.
- Check IPS signatures and service packs and back up devices at the agreed frequency.
- Troubleshoot backup failures and support disaster recovery drills.
- Configure and review firewall rules, track policy deviations, and configure NAT.
- Configure and manage load balancer changes.
