Associate Credit Analyst (Emirati Talent)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review credit applications and analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other information to assess creditworthiness.
• Evaluate credit risk, assist with credit limits, and apply credit scoring methodologies under supervision.
• Prepare credit analysis reports, risk assessments, supporting documentation, and customer account reports.
• Monitor customer accounts and support credit reviews, credit limit amendments, and compliance with policies.
• Support invoice processing, customer portal uploads, customer onboarding, master data maintenance, and document collection.
• Support collections through customer follow-ups, invoice query resolution, payment coordination, and invoice resubmissions.
• Identify opportunities to improve credit, billing, and collections processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge of accounting practices and principles and an understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
• Understanding of accounts receivable, collections processes, customer account management, customer portals, and invoicing systems.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• A solutions-oriented, proactive approach and ability to work under deadlines and in stressful situations.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Entry-level experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, collections, finance operations, or a related finance role is preferred.
• Experience with financial systems, accounting software, or ERP platforms is advantageous.
