Job Summary
The WAF and SSLO L2 Engineer supports the bank's Web Application Firewall and SSL Orchestration platforms.
The role protects critical banking applications and sensitive data from web threats while supporting financial regulatory compliance.
The position requires strong L2 troubleshooting experience and network security knowledge.
Education, Certification, and Experience
- A BE, BTech, BCA, or master's degree in computer science or information technology is required.
- The role requires four to six years of relevant experience.
- Two relevant certifications are required from CEH, CCNA, CCNP Security, and OEM F5 certifications such as F5-CA or F5-CTS.
- Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM, ASM/WAF, and SSLO platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 operational support for F5 BIG-IP WAF and SSL Orchestrator modules.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and security events, responding to alerts and service-desk tickets within established SLAs.
- Analyze and resolve web application and SSL/TLS security incidents, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Manage WAF policies, exceptions, and policy tuning.
