Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of all scaffold structures before initial use, after modification, and at periodic intervals
- Verify that scaffolds are erected, modified, and dismantled in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and relevant standards
- Ensure compliance with CISRS requirements, project HSE procedures, and applicable international standards
- Issue, update, and maintain scaffold inspection tags and records
- Identify unsafe scaffold conditions and initiate corrective actions immediately
- Review scaffold requests and determine suitable scaffold types and access solutions
- Perform routine audits of scaffold erection activities and work practices
- Coordinate with construction, maintenance, operations, and HSE teams regarding scaffold requirements and safety concerns
- Ensure scaffolds are adequately designed for intended loads and operational requirements
- Monitor scaffold materials to ensure they are in good condition and fit for use
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, risk assessments, and incident investigations related to scaffolding activities
- Maintain accurate inspection reports, registers, and documentation
Requirements
- CISRS Scaffolding Inspector Certification (mandatory)
- Valid Working at Height Training (mandatory)
- Minimum 5–10 years of scaffolding experience within EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, Offshore, or Energy projects
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scaffolding Inspector
- Proven experience on large scale EPC construction projects
- Experience with industrial access systems, temporary structures, and complex scaffolding configurations
- Familiarity with shutdown, turnaround, brownfield, and greenfield project environments
- NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- H2S Awareness Training (preferred)
- Confined Space Awareness Training (preferred)

Job Description – Scaffolding Inspector (CISRS Certified)
- The Scaffolding Inspector is responsible for inspecting, auditing, and certifying scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
- The role requires extensive experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects and a valid CISRS Scaffolding Inspector certification to ensure safe access systems for construction, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
