Overview
In this role, you ll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on
Aveva System Platform
across multiple tunnel sites.
You ll help ensure continuity, stability, and compliance directly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatar s key infrastructure networks.
What You Ll Be Doing
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms.
- Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues.
- Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing.
- Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health.
- Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records.
- Work closely with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for improvements and escalations.
- Support activities related to cybersecurity, asset lifecycle, and system upgrades.
What You Ll Bring
- 5 6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure/utilities experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of
Aveva System Platform
- , Intouch/OMI, Historian & Galaxy Repository.
- Familiarity with PLCs Schneider, Siemens, or Rockwell.
- Good understanding of OPC UA/DA, industrial networking, redundancy, and remote architectures.
- Solid troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
- Qatar driving license is a plus
