Satellite SPO Assistant Manager

Role Overview

Performance Management

• Establish standardized satellite performance management processes across STC Group.
• Define unified KPI, KQI, and SLA definitions, methodologies, thresholds, and formula validations.
• Analyze network and service performance trends to identify degradations and recommend optimization initiatives.
• Prepare periodic dashboards and reports covering network health, availability, utilization, latency, service quality, and customer experience.
• Conduct performance audits, KPI and KQI validations, and service quality assessments.
• Support vendor compliance and regulatory CST reporting requirements.

Corrective Actions and Architecture

• Coordinate root cause analysis for satellite performance degradations.
• Ensure escalation, corrective actions, and restoration follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide architectural recommendations and blueprint inputs for medium- and long-term performance enhancements.

Satellite Network Optimization

• Optimize GEO, MEO, and LEO routing and beam management for coverage, latency, and throughput.
• Optimize capacity and load balancing across satellite constellations to reduce congestion and maintain SLA compliance.
• Improve inter-satellite link efficiency, hop counts, and propagation delays.
• Optimize RF spectrum usage, interference mitigation, and bandwidth allocation.
• Optimize ground station selection and handover mechanisms for seamless LEO connectivity.

Requirements

• Experience managing and optimizing GEO, MEO, and LEO satellite network and service performance.
• Ability to establish KPI, KQI, and SLA definitions, measurement methodologies, thresholds, and formula validations.
• Ability to analyze performance trends, conduct service assessments, and recommend optimization initiatives.
• Ability to prepare performance dashboards and reports covering network health, availability, utilization, latency, service quality, and customer experience.
• Ability to coordinate root cause analysis, corrective actions, escalation, and restoration follow-up for performance degradations.
• Ability to provide architectural recommendations and blueprint inputs for satellite network enhancements.
• Knowledge of vendor or managed service provider compliance and CST reporting requirements.
