Role Overview

Work Arrangement

• The role is based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement.
• The stated notice period is immediate to 15 days, and the contract is long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional SAP teams and manage clients, stakeholders, vendors, system integrators, and distributed delivery teams.
• Manage SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Oversee requirements, design, development, testing, migration, integration, cutover, deployment, and business sign-off.
• Drive governance meetings, project reporting, financial tracking, executive updates, and transition to application support.

Required Skills

• Strong SAP project or program management experience.
• Experience with large-scale SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, or S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Understanding of SAP functional and technical architecture.
• Knowledge of SAP project lifecycle and implementation methodologies, including SAP Activate.
• Experience managing global, cross-functional, and distributed teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, vendor management, client management, and multi-workstream coordination skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.

Experience

• The role requires 10–15+ years of overall IT experience and 7+ years of SAP project management experience.
• Candidates should have experience managing medium-to-large SAP programs or projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• SAP Activate certification or experience is preferred.
• Agile or Scrum certification is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, integrations, data migration, and cloud transformation is preferred.
• Understanding of SAP security, testing, integration, and cutover processes is preferred.
