Role Overview

Business Analysis and Administration

• Lead stakeholder discovery sessions, requirements workshops, gap analyses, and process mapping across Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, and other departments.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Own the Salesforce enhancement backlog and determine whether solutions should use configuration, custom development, or integrations.
• Plan and execute UAT, manage defects and sign-off, and maintain traceability through releases.
• Administer users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, security, data governance, object changes, and technical debt.
• Manage sandbox strategy, release and change management, deployment coordination, and org health monitoring.

Development and Integration

• Design and maintain Flow automation using bulkified, governor-limit-aware, and maintainable patterns.
• Audit and migrate legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation to Flow where appropriate.
• Build Apex classes, triggers, batch, queueable, and schedulable jobs using enterprise-grade patterns.
• Build Lightning Web Components for needs beyond declarative capability and write meaningful Apex unit tests.
• Design integrations using REST or SOAP APIs, Platform Events, or middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Use secure authentication, robust error handling, and failure logging for integrations.

Governance and Enablement

• Serve as an escalation point for cross-department process conflicts and help enforce Salesforce Center of Excellence standards.
• Coordinate API-related changes with integration and development teams to protect data flows.
• Support change management, end-user training, daily configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least five years of Salesforce experience spanning functional business analysis and hands-on development.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications are required.
• Expert Flow Builder proficiency, strong Apex fundamentals, and proven Lightning Web Components experience are required.
• Integration experience covering functional data-flow troubleshooting and technical implementation is required.
• Experience with complex shared Salesforce orgs, enterprise security, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Strong requirements, documentation, communication, workshop, and technical design review skills are required.

Preferred Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification is preferred.
• Salesforce Business Analyst certification is preferred.
• Platform App Builder certification is preferred.

Location and Travel

• The role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with travel as needed.
