Job Summary

This is a senior Salesforce Technical Business Analyst and Developer role in a complex, multi-department environment with third-party integrations and Flow-based automation.

The role spans requirements elicitation, functional design, declarative configuration, custom Apex and LWC development, integrations, testing, and release delivery.

The position requires independent, production-grade judgment across both business analysis and technical development.

Business Analysis and Administration

  • Lead discovery sessions and prioritize requirements across Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, and other departments.
  • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, gap analyses, and current-state and future-state process mapping.
  • Own the Salesforce enhancement backlog through delivery.
  • Plan UAT, manage defect triage, maintain traceability, and coordinate releases.
  • Manage users, permissions, sharing rules, security, data governance, object changes, and org health.

Automation and Development

  • Design and maintain Flow automation using maintainable, bulkification-aware patterns.
  • Audit and migrate legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation to Flow where appropriate.
  • Build Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous jobs, Lightning Web Components, and meaningful unit tests.
  • Design integrations using REST or SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware, or iPaaS tools.
  • Implement secure authentication, robust error handling, and failure logging.

Governance and Support

  • Serve as an escalation point for cross-department process conflicts.
  • Help enforce Salesforce governance, naming, environment, automation, and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate API-related changes so administrative changes do not break integrations.
  • Support change management, end-user training, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Have 5 or more years of Salesforce experience across functional business analysis and hands-on development.
  • Hold Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Demonstrate expert Flow Builder proficiency and strong Apex fundamentals.
  • Have proven Lightning Web Components and enterprise integration experience.
  • Have experience supporting multiple departments on a shared, complex Salesforce org.
  • Understand enterprise Salesforce security, Git, CI/CD pipelines, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator is preferred.
  • Salesforce Business Analyst certification is preferred.
  • Platform App Builder certification is preferred.

Success Measures

Requirements move from discovery to implementation with minimal translation loss.

Flow and Apex assets are clean, documented, and free of conflicting automation.

Integration issues are detected early through end-to-end data-flow understanding.

Business stakeholders trust the role as a point of contact for Salesforce solution decisions.
