Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Develop Salesforce applications with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
- Design scalable solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Build custom objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, approval processes, and security models.
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations using JSON/XML and middleware platforms.
- Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Perform testing, debugging, optimization, deployments, production support, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Experience and Qualifications
- Candidates should have 4–8 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates should have strong Salesforce development and insurance domain experience.
- Candidates should understand Salesforce governor limits, security standards, coding standards, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
Required Technical Skills
- Salesforce Development, Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Lightning Web Components are required.
- Required skills include SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, process automation, REST/SOAP integration, and Salesforce security and sharing.
- Experience with custom objects, metadata, record types, validation rules, Salesforce CLI, Git, or CI/CD tools is required.
Insurance Domain Knowledge
Relevant processes include policy management, quote and bind, new business and renewals, claims management, customer and account management, underwriting, billing and payments, and agent or broker management.
Knowledge of insurance product and policy lifecycles and integration with insurance or legacy systems is relevant.
Good to Have
- Salesforce Insurance Cloud or Salesforce Industries experience is advantageous.
- OmniStudio/Vlocity, Salesforce Integration Cloud, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification, MuleSoft, enterprise application integration, and cloud architecture are advantageous.
