Role Overview
Sales Officer or Business Development Executive focused on UAE interior design, fit-out, renovation, and joinery projects.
This is a project-focused business development role rather than general retail sales.
Responsibilities
- Generate, manage, screen, and qualify leads for interior design, fit-out, renovation, and joinery projects.
- Arrange client meetings, site visits, presentations, and factory visits.
- Build relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, designers, real estate companies, and procurement teams.
- Follow up on quotations and proposals through a clear outcome.
- Convert opportunities into projects, signed contracts, or purchase orders.
- Develop external joinery business for the in-house carpentry division.
- Maintain the sales pipeline and report updates to management.
Requirements
- Previous UAE sales or business development experience in interior design, fit-out, construction, joinery, furniture, real estate, or a related industry.
- Good understanding of the UAE interiors and construction market.
- Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, cold-calling, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to qualify opportunities and manage a large number of leads independently.
- A strong UAE network is a major advantage.
- UAE driving licence and own vehicle are preferred.
- Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation
- The role is primarily commission-based and performance-based.
- Commission is linked to successfully secured projects and may vary by lead source, project type and value, profitability, and client payments received.
- High performers may have significant earning potential.
