Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the hotel’s sales and marketing activities to increase occupancy, generate revenue, improve customer relationships, and strengthen the hotel’s brand presence.
The role includes handling online booking platforms, corporate sales, guest communication, promotions, social media coordination, and administrative support for the sales department.
Key Responsibilitiessales Responsibilities
- Assist in achieving monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Handle corporate accounts, travel agents, and long-stay guest inquiries.
- Coordinate room bookings, group reservations, and special packages.
- Follow up with clients regarding quotations, contracts, and payments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Prepare sales reports and occupancy updates for management.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Promote hotel rooms, restaurant services, and special offers through online and offline channels.
- Manage online travel agency (OTA) platforms such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.
- Coordinate social media marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor online reviews and respond professionally to guest feedback.
- Assist in creating marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional content.
- Support branding activities and hotel events.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Prepare invoices, proposals, and contracts when required.
- Coordinate with reception, housekeeping, and accounts departments.
- Ensure all marketing and sales documents are updated and organized.
- Monitor competitors’ pricing and market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in sales, marketing, or hotel operations.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and OTA platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional appearance and customer service attitude.
