Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for guests.
The role includes cleaning studio rooms with kitchens, maintaining appliances, reporting maintenance issues, and following hotel hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilitiesroom Cleaning
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, pillow covers, and towels as required.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and showers.
Kitchen Area Cleaning
- Clean kitchen counters, sinks, and cabinets.
- Wipe and sanitize kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, kettles, and washing machines.
- Ensure no food waste or bad odor remains in the kitchen area.
Appliance & Equipment Care
- Check the condition of room appliances including fridge, kettle, and washing machine.
- Report any malfunction or damage to the housekeeping supervisor immediately.
Public Area Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, staircases, elevators, and common areas.
- Remove garbage and ensure proper waste disposal.
Guest Service
- Respond politely to guest requests such as extra towels, toiletries, or cleaning services.
- Maintain professional behavior and respect guest privacy at all times.
Reporting
- Report lost and found items immediately to the supervisor.
- Inform supervisors about maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Hygiene & Safety
- Follow hotel hygiene and sanitation procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
- Follow safety regulations and wear proper uniform while on duty.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning standards.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle physical work.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Working Hours
As per hotel shift schedule and operational requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
