Responsibilities

  • Ensure understanding of business strategy and brand positioning
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on product offerings and competitor trends
  • Approach sales activities strategically, directing efforts based on account priority
  • Review account production against potential and suggest improvements
  • Focus on establishing new client contacts and developing detailed revenue potential information
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and increase market share within the GCC and government segments
  • Manage existing relationships with key Government entities, Travel Agents, Corporate accounts, GSO’s and DMC’s
  • Achieve personal financial and non financial performance objectives
  • Take responsibility for professional development
  • Maintain accurate management status reporting
  • Practice effective cost control
  • Participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips and roadshows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated track record of managing GCC Leisure, Corporate and Government segments
  • Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of the GCC market and government protocols
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within GCC countries for business trips
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Adaptability to work in a fast paced, multicultural environment
