Position Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in the Insurance Brokerage industry.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in General Insurance sales within the UAE market and a demonstrated ability to develop and manage high value client portfolios.
  • This role focuses on acquiring new clients, strengthening existing relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across General Insurance lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Portfolio Development: Identify, engage, and acquire new corporate and individual clients.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets; promote and sell General Insurance products.
  • Relationship Management: Build long term relationships with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Market Research & Business Strategy: Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends.
  • Coordination & Compliance: Work closely with operations, claims, and servicing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and policy issuance.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts.

Requirements & Experience

  • 3 5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within a UAE Insurance Brokerage firm.
  • Strong experience in General Insurance products is mandatory.
  • General Insurance Brokerage experience in the UAE market is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing a substantial client portfolio is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Arabic Speaker (Required).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong business development and client acquisition capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a target driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of corporate clients and decision makers within the UAE market.
  • Experience handling SME, Corporate, and High Net Worth clients.
  • Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
  • Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less are preferred.

Compensation

  • Salary: AED 9,000 – 10,000 per month
  • Competitive salary with an attractive commission structure.
