Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for scrap plastic materials (PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, ABS, etc.)
- Manage domestic sales and export inquiries, ensuring timely follow ups and closures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recyclers, processors, and trading partners
- Track market prices, demand supply trends, and competitor activity within India
- Coordinate with procurement, quality inspection, and logistics teams for smooth execution
- Assist in negotiating pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client databases
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in scrap plastic sales, plastic recycling, or bulk commodity trading
- Strong knowledge of scrap plastic grades, sourcing, quality parameters, and pricing trends
- Experience handling domestic logistics and/or export documentation is preferred
- Good communication skills in English; regional language proficiency is an advantage
- Self motivated, target oriented, and capable of managing multiple clients independently
