Sales Executive - Events (Arabic Speaker) - Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort

Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Determine and provide approved complimentary gifts or rewards for guests.
• Promote brand image internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemption requests.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software during reservations.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, and faxing for Sales and Marketing.

• Assist management with training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and address concerns with genuine appreciation.
• Use clear professional language, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, listen to colleagues, and monitor adherence to quality standards.
• Perform duties involving moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least two years of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
