Recreation Experience Expert - Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort

Position Summary

Guest Recreation Services

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
• Promote facility rules and regulations for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
• Observe recreation facilities and respond appropriately to emergencies under local operating procedures.
• Assist guests who may not be able to safely participate in an activity and inform a supervisor or manager.

Payments and Events

• Provide cashier services for recreation facilities with point-of-sale transactions.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Assist with private functions, group activities, and events within recreation facilities.

Safety and Maintenance

• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreation facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.

Service and Operations

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and communicate clearly and professionally, including by telephone.
• Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
• Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
• Comply with company policies, quality assurance expectations, and professional appearance standards.

Required Qualifications

• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Recreation equipment certification or training.
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.

Schedule and Position Type

• The position is full time.

• The role is based at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, and involves work across physical recreation facilities.
• The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving through uneven, slippery, narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects, including objects weighing more than 25 pounds with assistance.
