The Opportunity
Flexport is hiring a consultative and tenacious Sales Development Representative - New Grad for its growing Sales Team in Chicago.
The role supports businesses in finding global trade solutions that empower their success.
You Will
- Identify and qualify new inbound sales opportunities for Flexport.
- Partner with marketing to develop, test, and implement new inbound funnels.
- Work with Account Executives to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities in the assigned market segment.
- Demonstrate the value of Flexport's offering through phone calls, email, and social media.
- Shadow Account Executives in meetings and other activities to build skills for the next sales role.
You Should Have
- A bachelor's or associate's degree or at least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
- Enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects and speaking with new people every day is required.
- A compliance-first attitude is required for work in a heavily regulated industry.
Compensation
- The US base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $55,000 USD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.
Workplace
- The position is based out of Flexport's Chicago office and is identified as onsite.
