Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations for air, sea, land, intermodal, and breakbulk freight services
- Coordinate with pricing, operations, and carriers to obtain the most competitive and commercially viable rates
- Support Business Development Managers in opportunity development, proposal preparation, and client engagement activities
- Maintain and regularly update customer records, sales pipelines, and reporting tools
- Proactively follow up on inquiries, quotations, and client feedback to maximize conversion and customer satisfaction
- Ensure timely and professional responses to client requests while building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Support the onboarding of new clients, including documentation, compliance requirements, and system setup
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments in line with agreed terms
- Ensure all quotations and transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies, contractual requirements, and Incoterms
- Maintain up to date and accurate information in CRM and relevant internal systems
- Contribute to the achievement of team sales targets and KPIs
- Support timely collection of payments from assigned clients in coordination with sales and finance teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Basic understanding of shipping terms (Incoterms) and the freight forwarding industry
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM systems; familiarity with freight forwarding systems (e.g., CargoWise) is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive problem solving approach
- Team oriented mindset with good organizational and time management skills
- Persuasive and solution driven personality with a customer focused approach
