Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Agricultural Products & Services business across the UAE.
  • The ideal candidate must possess both a strong agricultural educational background and hands on commercial experience within the agriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
  • Promote and sell agricultural products and services.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long term relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and contracts.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, industry trends.
  • Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, industry events, networking functions.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain long term client relationships.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Plant Science, or another closely related agricultural discipline (Mandatory).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales and business development within the agricultural products and/or agricultural services industry.
  • Proven experience selling agricultural products, irrigation systems, fertilizers, crop protection products, seeds, greenhouse solutions, agricultural machinery, agricultural technology, or related services.
  • Strong technical understanding of agricultural products and farming practices.
  • Existing network within the UAE agricultural market is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience preparing commercial proposals, tenders, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
