Position Overview
The Retail Sales Associate supports guest purchases at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada.
The role reports to the Retail Supervisor and Retail Manager.
The position helps guests complete their aquarium experience by purchasing keepsakes and attraction-related products.
Schedule
- The attraction operates 365 days a year.
- Regular availability is expected for shifts during, before, or after operating hours.
Critical Accountabilities
- Operate and maintain the retail store and merchandise to high standards.
- Accurately complete cash, debit, and credit sales transactions.
- Stock merchandise on the sales floor and retrieve inventory from the off-site stockroom.
- Assist with merchandise ticketing.
- Count merchandise and participate in annual and regular inventory counts.
- Maintain sales-floor neatness and cleanliness.
Special Skills and Requirements
- Excellent guest service and communication skills are required.
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Prior cash handling experience is preferred.
Pay
- The pay rate is $19.06 per hour.
