Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is hiring a part-time Line Cook for Ripley’s Café.
The Line Cook reports to the Manager of Food Services.
The role supports an attraction open 365 days a year and requires regular availability across operating-hour shifts.
Critical accountabilities
- Prepare food and set up café line stations.
- Prepare and cook meals for guests.
- Monitor food temperatures and rotate and store food properly.
- Put away dry and produce deliveries.
- Keep kitchen areas consistently clean.
- Follow provincial regulations and comply with OHSA and WHMIS requirements.
Special skills and requirements
- Flexible schedule availability, including shifts before, during, or after attraction operating hours.
- Adaptability and ability to multitask.
- Physical ability to lift and transfer heavy items.
- Ability to stand for most of the shift.
- Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Experience working with various food products.
- Excellent communication skills.
Pay rate
- Pay rate is $20.21 per hour.
