Role Overview
- The Sales Assistant plays a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing customer experience within the store.
- Reports to the Store Manager and is tasked with maintaining high standards of cleanliness, engaging with customers, and executing operational duties.
- Success is measured by upholding visual presentation standards, delivering exemplary customer service, and contributing to store sales and efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and non business like greeting.
- Create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
- Provide quality service in fitting rooms and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
- Thank all customers sincerely for shopping and invite them back.
- Provide customers with current and relevant product information.
- Attempt to add on to the sale by offering additional products or services.
- Offer gift cards at the cash wrap to enhance sales.
- Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
- Maintain cash wrap cleanliness and ensure efficient service.
- Capture customer information in the database to improve service and marketing efforts.
