Role Description

  • This is a frontline business development role for an experienced sales professional passionate about acquiring customers and closing high value commercial transactions.
  • Based in Jeddah, you will develop new business opportunities across Saudi Arabia by engaging importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, manufacturers, food service companies, hospitality groups, processors, and commodity traders.
  • You will own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new B2B customers across Saudi Arabia.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Build relationships with importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers, processors, food service companies, and commodity traders.
  • Promote Maalexi's technology enabled trade, logistics, warehousing, financing, and supply chain solutions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close transactions.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales, revenue, and customer acquisition targets.
  • Maintain strong post sale relationships to maximize repeat business and customer retention.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor information, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, finance, and customer success teams.
  • Represent Maalexi at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events throughout Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales experience within food, agricultural commodities, FMCG, logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, supply chain, or related industries.
  • Existing network with importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, manufacturers, hospitality businesses, or commodity traders in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, negotiation, and closing commercial transactions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
  • Highly self motivated, commercially driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
  • Valid Saudi driving licence is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
