Responsibilities
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
- Facilitate implementing systems and procedures
- Regularly Monitor complete factory operation & Support the development of Occupational Health and Safety policies and programs of the company
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related actions
- Ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inside factory premises as per defined process requirement & company rule -regulation.
- Organize training and orientation regarding safety-related awareness and current public health issues.
- Defined & conduct minimum safety training for all new joiner.
- Interact with company personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies regarding safety
- Coordinate with Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) and other government agencies when it comes to safety implementation and rules.
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity about safety rules and precautions (e.g., not using protective equipment).
- Record and investigate incidents and accidents in the work to determine causes

- immediate corrective action & preventive action to eliminate in future.
- Create accident/incident reports format
- and perform investigation to ensure conformity in all aspects of health and safety.
- Maintained an adequate supply of approved safety and PPE supplies for the work force.
- Oversee disposal of waste substances or any harmful chemical to the environment (Society) inside of the factory.
- Perform monthly safety inspection regarding, housekeeping, application of safety procedures, fire protection equipment s, special hazards, pump house, piping systems and valves and the likes.
- Report to all
- concerned including reporting manager and top management any safety abnormalities found and occurred.
- Risk review of each operation & Plan action to minimize or eliminate risk.
- Coach and provide formal and informal positive constructive feedback to ensure that work is carried out in an efficient manner & Safe Manner.
- Coordinate with other departments pertaining solutions which are beneficial for the improvement of EHS & OHS of the entire Company
- Recommend training needed to bridge the staff skill gap.
- Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that is often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances.
- Toolbox meeting with team every day before starting work.
- Fire protection & prevention system inspection once weekly
- Conduct EHS & OHS inspection or Safety tour to take observation for deviation monthly once & immediate action to correct it.
- Prepare monthly safety inspection report.
- Co-ordinate with MODON & GAMEPS for industrial safety & environmental safety requirement.
- Periodic check for First Aid box for all medicine availability.
- Strict adherence to safety guideline & PPE used by all employee & Visitors include customer - Contractor - Govt.official - AUDITORS .... etc.
- Preparation of gate as &when required for contractor work for entry permission & work.
- To provide safety awareness training for employees & visitors.
- To issue safety violation tickets for safety violation.
- Safety PPE requirement & Warning poster inside factory & office for awareness of all.
