Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and cost effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up to date shipment tracking records, providing full visibility of shipment status and expected delivery timelines.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and proactively address delays, disruptions, or logistics related issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage import and export activities, including customs clearance, transportation arrangements, and preparation of all required logistics documentation.
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize transportation and logistics costs through process improvements, route optimization, and carrier performance evaluation.
- Track and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), including on time delivery, shipment lead times, transportation costs, and documentation accuracy.
- Ensure all shipping, customs, and logistics documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure operational requirements and customer expectations are met.
