Overview
We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer with fit-out industry experience to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining health & safety standards at fit-out project sites and ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site safety activities and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use proper PPE
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident records
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors on safety matters
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports
- Ensure all fit-out activities are carried out safely
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in fit-out projects
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification preferred
- Knowledge of UAE HSE standards and regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to manage site safety documentation
- Immediate joiners preferred
