Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure the HSE plan is received from Head Office and implemented at site.
- Induct all new site personnel with HSE training prior to admission to the site.
- Monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations and develop measures to assure personnel safety.
- Conduct Tool Box Talk on regular basis to educate workers on site safety.
- Strive and maintain ZERO LTI policy throughout the project life cycle.
- Leading in house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
- Attend morning field safety briefings at Staging Areas and assembly points.
- Conduct mock up fire drill at regular intervals.
- Identify health and safety concerns inherent in daily work plan.
- Inspect work site daily to ensure workplace meets safety requirements.
- Ensure monthly inspection of fire extinguishers, fire blankets and safety equipment.
- Maintain adequate stock of PPE for current and planned workforce.
Additional Duties
- Provide inputs to rectify shortcomings in implementing HSE plan.
- Investigate accidents, write reports, maintain records and implement preventive actions.
- Receive, distribute, educate and implement circulars/notices from authorities.
- Issue stop notices for unsafe acts and conditions.
- Carry out risk assessments and provide inputs to reduce risks.
- Issue verbal warning for safety violators and advise PM for written warnings.
- Promote HSE policies and award employees contributing to safe working methods.
- Record digitally safe and unsafe conditions for training and awareness.
- Liaise with MC for all site related HSE items.
- Maintain and validate all HSE related documents on regular basis.
- Conduct HSE audit as prescribed by the HSE Auditor.
- Any other duties assigned by superior.
