Road Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• :
• Implement and monitor Road Safety and Traffic Management Procedures
• .
• Develop and maintain Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for project activities
• .
• Generate and submit IVMS (In-Vehicle Monitoring System) reports to clients in a timely manner
• .
• Conduct site-specific road safety risk assessments and implement effective control measures
• .
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of traffic signage, barricades, cones, and warning systems
• .
• Coordinate the movement of construction vehicles, heavy equipment, and delivery trucks to ensure safe operations
• .
• Conduct vehicle inspections and verify compliance with safety requirements
• .
• Ensure drivers possess the required certifications and competencies as per client and regulatory requirements
• .
• Monitor pedestrian safety and ensure adequate separation from vehicle movement areas
• .
• Support the implementation of Journey Management Plans and Transport Emergency Response Procedures
• .
• Conduct road safety inductions, awareness sessions, and training programs for employees
• .
• Liaise with project management teams and client representatives on all road safety matters
• .
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE, Road Safety, and Traffic Management requirements
• .

Requirement

• s:
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from a recognized institutio
• n.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification approved by ADNOC Grou
• p.
• Minimum 2–4 years of HSE or Road Safety experience, including at least 1 year focused on Road Safety and IVMS reportin
• g.
• Strong knowledge of Traffic Management Plans, Journey Management, and Transport Safety requirement
• s.
• Mandatory experience with IVMS software and reporting system
• s.

• Valid UAE Driving Licens

• e.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, or EPC projects is preferre
• d.
• Additional HSE certifications will be considered an advantag
